1. MCDONALDS I don't eat here

1.5. SAKURA'S Japanese steak house where the cooking is done at the center of each table. Excellent food. Atmosphere adequate. Expense slightly above average.

2. CUCINA Lattes, muffins, soups, sandwiches, breakfasts, Judy's favorite coffee. This place has a drive thru window. Judy recommends this restaurant.

2.5. CHI CHI'S CAFE Good weekend breakfasts, Good lunches, Good atmosphere 8AM to 2 PM. Average costs.

3. SUBWAY Good place for take-along lunches for Sat. and Sun. Subs with a lot of veggies. Vegetarian subs. Tuna and seafood subs. I eat here. Slightly cheaper than average.

4. CHAPALA Mexican. Good food, inexpensive and fast. I like bigger portions.

5. JAVA ON MAIN Emphasis on coffee, but large variety of breakfasts. My favorite coffee.

6. THE BAGEL PLACE Judy and I have not been here but others say they have good bagels and sandwiches perhaps more.

6.5 THE BREWERY Good beer, great pot pie. We have not eaten here for a long time. The pot pie is cheap. Other entries may be slightly above average in cost. Great atmosphere. The beer is made onsite.

7. THE THAI HOUSE A family favorite, we eat here often. Large selection of oriental food. Average cost, good atmosphere. GOOD FOOD

8. ATKINSON'S MARKET Good grocery with a deli and salad bar. Takeout sandwiches are good here.

8. THE DRUG STORE Apothacary, some herbal stuff, small toys and some kitchen items

8. HARDMAN'S HARDWARE The towns most complete hardware store.

9. SHORTY'S DINER We have not been here for a long time. Retro diner with good food. Juke boxes with oldies. This diner was founded by Bruce Willis but has been sold. Average costs.

10. SUN SUMMIT SOUTH Hailey's only bike shop that sells only bicycles. My favorite bike shop.

11. POST OFFICE Same as everywhere.
